After graduating from University, Jazz approached me to help her create an identity for her new start-up business. With most of the local competition targeting a more mature clientele, Jazz wanted an identity that would engage with a younger audience.
After our initial discovery session, I developed three Snapshots, a design overview that helps present the visual language, vision and direction of an identity that consists of… fonts, colours, logo styles, forms, images and graphic elements. Out of the three Snapshots presented, the one opposite captured what Jazzfit was all about… ‘Fun, Energetic & Intense’. This inspired me to develop an identity that was bold, fun to work on, and capture a feeling of movement and energy within the logo and visual elements.
Richard at Rebus helped bring my vision together to create an identity for my new business. He was very supportive, patient and professional throughout the whole process and always had time to listen to my ideas. I designed a simple, modern and dynamic visual identity to appeal to Jazz’s target audience that was adaptable and fun to work with. Within the new Mark, simple graphical elements and shapes are incorporated that helped create a very unique look when developing this across a wide range of marketing material and merchandise, from Instagram campaigns through to branded gym wear.
