Since Adam had started Reel Film and initially designed a makeshift logo for the new business, the company had grown quite considerably and was also venturing into different areas of the media sector. Therefore Adam was looking for a more modern and unique logo that also had the flexibility to show the different areas of the business by developing the Reel Media Group brand family.
After I initially created several design concepts, Adam and the team were all drawn toward the concept where I incorporated the letter ‘L’ from REEL to form a frame, this represents using the index finger and thumb of both of your hands to make a rectangle to look through it. Most commonly used by photographers, movie producers, or artists.

A simple, but eye catching logo was created for Reel Film which easily adapted to Reel Events so Adam could market separate areas of the business under the same brand. As Adam also had future plans to adapt the business which we discussed during out early conversations, this new system was designed to create any additional routes the company took, easily and seamlessly.
