Anne Pemberton

A unique identity to help combat health challenges

The Challenge

Anne's old logo was over-complicated and confusing, so we were more than happy to help when asked to create something a bit more her!

We designed a logo around probably the most individual and unique thing we could think of... the fingerprint.

Having worked with Rebus in the past on various design projects, we asked them to help us develop a new identity for our membership scheme. They worked with us to understand what we were looking for and presented three great options, any of which would have worked! The one we chose was particularly clever as they managed to use shapes from the ceiling patterns in our grade 2 listed building to create a contemporary design that reflects the treasured heritage of our theatre, which perfectly appealed to our community

The Approach

The nature of Anne's work is very bespoke and tailored uniquely to her clients, finding solutions to their own individual health needs. So, it goes without saying we wanted to create her something unique to reflect this, but with all the logos and identities we design our two biggest must-haves are... keep it simple and make it unique. So we wanted to find a way we could somehow emphasise the personal and individual aspect of what Anne does!

The Result

Our solution to this problem was to design a logo around probably the most individual and unique thing we could think of... the fingerprint. This perfectly communicated Anne's message of a tailored individual service, and for Anne, we went one step further, incorporating her own initials into her one-off logo. This created some great elements for use to work with when developing the identity across various applications.
